I do not currently have the energy to do a full review for this pleasure read, so here are some photos of me talking about how much I love it.

I got to like 80% through the book last night before I fell asleep and ITS SO GOOD

This is a 5 star read for me. It’s got everything you want in a gothic fiction, from the wonderful details to the fun architectural descriptions. It’s written so beautifully, yet the horrors and events and gore is very much there. I was genuinely scared reading this at moments and it was a genuinely wonderful escape. I am excited to finish this one (I have aout 20 pages left, I fell asleep at like 4 am). And go on to the next book!
