For some reason when I moved this site over, this page went completely blank! Super fun!

What you should know about me?
I live in the PNW, I own three dogs and I spend all my spare time reading books and maintaining this blog.
I did not start reading as an adult until September of this last year, 2024, so I am still discovering which genres and authors I love, but I’ve already learned so much about my personal tastes.
A big reason for why I do ARC reviews and Library loans is due to my low income situation. I would love to spend $5 per book I read, but I unfortunately do not have the funds for that currently. My goal is to try to uplift as many authors as I can with the resources I have available and what is accessible to me.
If you have any concerns about anything on my site, feel free to email me.

this is a book blog review website (passion project, really) run by a PNW based book lover and tech nerd. Jillian is is very passionate about web design, content creation, and helping support authors wherever possible.
If you are looking for book reviews and lists and recommendations, you’ve come to the right place, welcome to Jillian’s book blog!
Jillian started reading regularly in September of 2024, after she learned everything she could about web design and wanted to relax.
Please know there is a huge range of books here from Children’s Fiction to Extreme Horror. This website IS NOT INTENDED for anyone under the age of 18. I do my best to place clear labels on horror books and make it clear when the book is dark and disturbing, but I am not a parent, and it is your responsibility as a reader to look into the book before downloading it. I do not have any affiliate links on this site, so I will likely start a paid subscription at some point!
Please know this site contains reviews for books that are ranging from Children’s books to extreme horror books. This website is intended for users 18+ and not for children, as the content in the books is for mature audiences usually. If the review is tagged “horror” or has smut involved, it is likely not for younger audiences. If it is YA or a children’s book, it likely is safe. The intended audience for this website is not children. For a more detailed list of triggers for books, please see this wonderful resource here!
With that being said, HEY! I reside in the PNW, and I am ALWAYS reading.
