Book Review

Mary Shelley Frankenstein

If you didn’t know, NO ONE believed a woman could have POSSIBLY been this talented. She slayed. People literally thought her husband wrote it. Here is a blog post from a graduate student as I don’t want to send you to a news page riddled with advertisements.

I had the privilege of studying this book in my English class in college. The professor also had us study the themes within Beyonce’s album Lemonade. At first, I thought it was for fun. She genuinely showed us the depth of symbolism, metaphors, and feminine rage within modern media and it changed me. She tested us on these themes, and I remember thinking it was the coolest class on the planet.
